Hollywood 48 Hour Diet Review

The Hollywood 48 hour Diet is a juice "diet" that you can go on for 48 hours. It costs around $20 for a bottle. It is recommended that you do it no more than twice a month and that you can lose up to 10 pounds each time you do it. It claims to be a great detox for your body in clearing out the intestines and colon.

In effect, the Hollywood 48 hour Diet is a juice "fast", rather than a "diet". Like any fast, it is a form of starvation and any weight loss is likely to be water loss - which is immediately regained as soon as the fast ends.

Hollywood 48 Hour Diet - Claims

  • Detoxes the body.
  • Up to 10 pound weight loss.
  • Energizes you.

Hollywood 48 Hour Diet - Drawbacks

  • No diet plan which lasts 48 hours can offer effective weight (fat) loss.
  • 5-10 pound weight loss is unhealthy and strictly temporary.
  • It's a very expensive way to achieve temporary water weight loss.

Hollywood 48 Hour Diet - Summary

  • Not recommended for weight loss. See also Diet Fasts
  • As a one time de-tox it's okay, but the idea that the Hollywood 48 Hour Diet can help you achieve lasting weight loss is a bit far-fetched.
