Rosemary Conley's Hip and Thigh Diet ReviewOverviewCleverly named to imply that it causes weight loss on hips and thighs, Rosemary Conley's Complete Hip and Thigh Diet (1983) has been a best-selling diet in the UK for over 20 years. In fact, the Hip and Thigh Diet is a straightforward low-fat diet which (unlike the implication in the title) aims to reduce weight all over the body. So if you are female and pear-shaped, this diet is no more likely to reduce the fat on your hips and thighs than any other sensible diet plan. Otherwise, the diet is sensible (1200 calories) and well-balanced, although it is very low in fat (about 15-20 percent fat), not specifically calorie-counted and there is a longish list of banned foods. However, the recipes are simple, the foods are nutritious and filling, and most people report it easy to follow. Hip and Thigh Diet - Claims
