Diet Reviews  - What's the Best Weight Loss Diet?

Diet Workshop Review

The Diet Workshop program consists of diet, exercise and behaviour modification. Diets range from 1600 to 2600 calories and follow the food pyramid. The diet plan includes (optional) bars, shakes, meals, cookies, biscuits and more. They lead you to believe that these supplements are somehow magical in helping you to lose weight.

To join Diet Workshop's diet program and get started, costs about $200. However, the plan ends up costing about $35 a week with their supplements. Depending on the amount of weight you need to lose, this can get quite costly. This is a well rounded food plan, but much of the focus is on promoting supplements.

Diet Workshop - Claims

  • Lose weight effortlessly.
  • Follows the food pyramid.
  • Individual counseling available.
  • Trained staff/counsellors.

Diet Workshop - Drawbacks

  • Expensive to use the supplemental bars, shakes, cookies.
  • Some of the plans are very low calorie and may be extremely hard to stick to.
  • Not available everywhere. Northeastern USA franchise operation.

Diet Workshop - Summary

  • Not recommended for any dieter with less than about $200-$250 to spend.
  • If you can afford this diet program, it sounds good - but skip the supplements and other dietary products. None of these diet extras are proven to assist weight loss.
